About the humanitarian efforts

There are a number of humanitarian efforts associated with the 2009 Africa Caravan. The caravan offers multiple opportunities for additional humanitarian involvement. Because the Airstreams are being shipped to Africa, there is an opportunity for each Airstream to be packed with humanitarian aid items pending approval by the 5C Directors. HIV/AIDS Effort
Jody Aufrichtig, South African Project Director, has chosen HIV/AIDS as his area of concern and plans to outfit an Airstream for HIV/AIDS education with a plan to distribute 1 million condoms along the trip route.
